Street protests are violent and unproductive

come on lah pak kaduk. It's not the idea of street demos being violent that creates the negative tag in our mind...Street demos are much more of an inconvient-to-our-mind issue. Maklumlah, dibesarkan supaya berbudi bahasa dan tak boleh melawan taukeh. A street demo is an inconvinience to the common malay mind because the fear of the police and their brutal tactics. The passivity and the sense of inconvinience of confrontations(not even physical, maybe just verbal) runs so deep, we usually condemn the people who bring "issues" up rather than question the party that causes the discontent at the first place.
